Children's Character Festival
Children are the future pillars of society. That’s why Christine Ma Lau, founder of Character Education Foundation, Joanna Hotung, founder of Hotung Mills Education Foundation, and Vivian Chung, founder of Story Seeds Hong Kong, all place great emphasis on character education for children. These three core members of the JES Network have made significant contributions to the education sector. Recently, they joined forces to co-host Hong Kong’s first Children’s Character Festival. The festival invites children aged 3 to 10 to create true stories centred on good deeds using illustration, writing, or any other medium, and to present their true stories, sharing their experiences with adjudicators and the audience. Through storytelling, this event aims to plant the seeds of character, nurturing the next generation to become kind and responsible citizens.
